My wanderings:
Such a lovely gentle day it is.
The sun is not too intense.
There is a gentle breeze.
And you just might wonder
what else we do here besides make delicious smoothies
and eat delicious salads.
Let’s start with the body of water a moment’s walk away–the ocean.
It is warm and turquoise. The beaches are white and light.
And we go swimming in it twice a day.
Here’s what the rhythm of our day looks like:
Water, smoothie and vitamins upon awakening.
Long walk along the beach.
Inhale vitamin d,
screen out uv rays with 45
wearing sunhat and sunglasses.
Time for long quiet walks, long talks or quiet meditation.
Swim.
We go in the water for an hour or so.
It’s my favourite.
We exercise in the water.
We run, we do stretches, aerobics,
resistance training, crunchies, you name it.
We run against the current, we swim on our backs
and then float and breathe.
This is by far the most amazing exercising I’ve ever experienced.
So gentle on the body, but so satisfying.
And I wonder every day while we are out there,
who might like to join us next year
on a smoothie, raw foods, exercise,
walking, and exploring adventure and retreat.

Anyway, back to the rhythm,
after we return to our “home away from home,”
we make more smoothies or salads,
and we both turn our attention
to many different interests
from writing to reading,
researching and planning.
In the afternoon, we head back out for a walk,
another swim
and time to sit and enjoy the sunshine and beach,
the birds and vast skies
….we sit and enjoy life
with the deepest of pleasure and genuine gratitude.
