In light of life
In light of things
I see lines blurring the space
like an old 1950’s television screen
that had those black lines appearing
across the face
until you turned a small button
to find the balance
to stop them.
Interference in our faces,
black lines in our days
in moments
expressing lines of thought,
the crackling of emotions,
in the grey areas.
To stop and centre
to slow down the lines of thought,
to clear up the grey interference,
between the lines
is to find a place of stillness.
Within this stillness,
is not the cessation of thoughts,
but the ability to deal with them,
by calming them down,
balancing them, seeing them for what they are,
constant and changing.
To just sit and breathe is a gift
beyond measure.
To just sit and let the thoughts flow by
and the emotions sparkle,
is to allow light in life to find its place
in the warm seasonal summer breeze.
Not as centre but as part of a whole.
Within the silence
is darkness,
yet to be illuminated.
So we sit, to make space.
To be consciously aware
of becoming light in darkness.
Light in life itself.
No goals, no lists, no expectations.
Just the cultivation of calm awareness
in this daily garden, daily life,
this seedbed of becoming humanely present.
For when light illuminates the still darkness,
living wisdom appears, truly appears,
from the place and space,
it has always been,
moving and flowing,
highlighting the curious substance of light
and the beautiful essence of itself.
Living wisdom
unfolding within the alchemy of colour,
as expression of this
illuminated living
and nature of relationships.
It is not one or the other,
but within the coming together of two
that something new arises.
The first is willingness to hold this space open,
as newly arrived
for curiosity, respect and mutual genuine interest,
over and over again,
within ourselves.
The second is to cultivate vast awareness of
the wave lengths of light illuminating
the space of darkness,
and the place of living wisdom,
just as it is,
revealed and welcomed
through the perception
and prism of colour.
Both realms living
infinite and engaged
in a cycle of common interest
and conscious commitment,
full of attention and intention
to the birth of love and
the dance of a new way of living gracefully,
as if it were the yearly cycle and birth of breath itself.
To hold space open
within ourselves,
for conscious human awareness,
to unite with the presence of living wisdom,
is to welcome the earthly birth of
love within the alchemy of living colour.
To be living in colour,
in love,
is to be
enlightened in life.
Light in the unseen stillness of life.
Light illuminating the beauty of living wisdom
united in genuine interest and common purpose,
gives birth to a new way of being alive,
gives birth to a new world culture of love, peace and friendship,
gives birth to a new way of intuitively seeing and being generous
in the world, ourselves and each other,
through the colours and lenses of love.
Awakened living wisdom,
substance and essence of life itself,
united within the space of embodiment,
is there for each one of us
as the new path of enlivened and enlightened
present moments,
like stepping stones
over running water.
Love and the motions,
the expressions of colour
begin filling our hearts and souls
with unique impulses
to kindly share
the seasons of our true nature,
our growing tips in life,
and the songs of our souls
with each other
bringing dignity
to the ordinary,
and the extraordinary,
gift of life.
May we rise on the ethers and thermals of song,
like the birds,
to welcome this new age of
love, light, living wisdom, beauty and peace.
May we sit and breathe and live together
with kindness, generosity, happiness, joy and compassion.
We are the living wisdom
when the light of awareness
dawns within us
shining upon our true nature.
We are the living wisdom
that flows through all of life,
non-differentiated as individuals,
or countries,
but deeply felt as the
uniting of wholeness
of everything living,
offering each of us a place,
in the sun,
to be and belong
to this incredible universe.
Life pulses through all of us uniquely
but when the light of awareness
and the unseen realm of living wisdom
actually illuminates, appears and unites,
a new world is born.
A quickened way of living
through the presence of love,
within each one of us
inside and outside
is reflected back
to each one of us
through our ability to see
each other as expressions
of this love
offered to us
as a true miracle.
Our new inner place of dwelling
holding our true nature
is our new home on earth.
Within the beauty of nature
there is no separation
just devotion
just love for the gift of life
just love for the gift of living
just love for each other
for our breaths
and the oceans and rivers
for babies and stars
for food and gardeners
for every single thing
that allows us to live
to give and receive
to be and become.
But most of all to recognize
that we have the ability ourselves
to carry and birth love every single day
by sitting within the vast awareness of everything
with curiosity,
willingly holding open space,
where living wisdom can become conscious,
cherished, nourished and attended to
by the light in life itself
as whole and flowing in all of us.
And when we allow light and living wisdom to unite,
we become all the colours of the rainbow
we become love itself
as one flowing, living presence,
individually embodied as expression.
With this enlightened
and enlivened presence,
we become creative renewal itself,
through our radiating hearts and calm minds,
our embodied willing kindness
to actively create life on earth
out of true love,
out of our true natures
tending to that which is living and growing all around us,
within us, above and below, on the inside and outside,
out of the wholeness of love and new cultures of peace
filled with living wisdom, light and beauty.
Light illuminating life.
Life as embodied living wisdom.
Uniting in genuineness and generosity .
Birthing the rainbow of colours
as love, surrounded by
devotion, happiness and commitment
to the fostering and saving of the seeds of change
to the creative renewal of blossoming gardens
and to the growing tips of each newly emerging
living being
coming in with
light in life.
