Thursday in Playa

I slept well the first night, but Rod was awoken by all the new sounds from cars to dogs.

It was a lovely morning…..we have two balconies and lots of lovely sunshine and breezes.  We unpacked and went downstairs in search of our first smoothie.  I ordered Nirvana which was full of so many fresh fruits.

We then went for our first morning walk along the beach.  It felt good to stretch our legs and be in the sunshine.

On our first day, we always go shopping.  It is one of my favourite things to do anywhere.  I love fruits and vegetables…..

I took some photos of the piles of colourful produce we could choose from.

What did we buy:  mangoes, pineapple, papaya, bananas, oranges, grapefruits, avocadoes, tomatoes, onions, cilantro, parsley, spinach, organic, yes organic, lettuce, hot peppers, celery, all natural yogurt, refried black beans, freshly made tortillas, and water.

Now we are set for our green and fruit smoothies in the mornings, large yummy salads at lunch and our favourite tacos, with beans and homemade salsa with avocadoes.

Our life is simple here, which is so important to me.  I love how we eat, and it is a time for me to reset all sorts of inner clocks and get well and healthy for the year to come.  I love our walks and as always, we have plans of things we want to do and accomplish while here.

We want to visit friends.  We want to imagine how we can return next year with our worldwide friends coming with us!

I have plans while here to work on new meditation rhythms and my hand at drawing this year….we’ve brought many wonderful books and as always, time to write and think and stay connected to those we love.

Tonight we are off for a walk along the beach under the stars, in deep gratitude for this healing space we hold open together.  It is the love of our lives together, opening beautiful living environments.  We’ve created many and we have many more to open  It is our deepest wish is to continue sharing them, whatever they will be, with others……

  1. Great to think of you there. Your words make the images vivid. The beautiful fresh colors of the veggies,r the broad blue sky, the stars, the vast sea.

A chance to heal, to rethink and imagine the future.

Breathe in and relish every moment.

    Sending you lots of love,
    Susanne
